Open Standards play a role in almost every solution implemented by Kajun. For one thing, the use of Open Standards almost certainly facilitates interchange – which should be one of the objectives of most content strategies.

Many Open Standard approaches and tools, today, have become so reliable and supported that not considering their use is almost negligent. Connectivity, interchange, re-use, multiple target platforms – all of these are facilitated by the use of Open Standards. Want to get a project or a prototype off and running quickly and reliably? Open Source should almost always be considered an option.
